A leading MedTech company is launching a major Operational Excellence initiative and is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to drive the organizational restructuring and workforce optimization within its production. The primary goal is to increase organizational efficiency and reduce indirect headcount across multiple production sites in the field of blue and white collar.
Start: November 1, 2025
Duration: 6+ months
Remote/On-Site: Primarily remote, with occasional on-site workshops
Workload: Full-time
YOUR CHALLENGE

Analyze the current organizational setup across production and production-related functions

Develop and implement concepts for the reduction of indirect labor and optimization of organizational layers

Redesign leadership structures and define optimal spans of control to enhance efficiency and transparency

Identify redundant roles and streamline support and administrative functions in alignment with business needs

Support HR and management in planning and executing workforce restructuring measures
-
Build visibility on cost drivers, capacity utilization, and role accountability
-
Define clear governance and reporting structures for sustainable organizational control

Act as a sparring partner for senior leadership in organizational design and transformation decisions

Prepare and accompany the implementation of organizational changes across sites
YOUR TALENTS
-
Several years of experience in organizational restructuring, workforce optimization, or operational excellence within industrial environments
-
Proven track record in headcount reduction projects or organizational transformation in manufacturing or MedTech sectors

Strong understanding of production structures, support functions, and efficiency levers in complex organizations
-
Proficiency in organizational design, capacity analysis, and cost structure assessment
-
Experienced in collaborating within international matrix organizations
-
Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a hands-on implementation mindset
-
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at senior management level
-
Fluent in English, no German required.
