For an international strategy project in the eyewear and optical lenses industry, we are looking for experienced freelance consultants to support the coordination and execution of an extensive interview program with global industry experts. YOUR CHALLENGE

• Lead and manage an international research project in the B2B spectacle lenses market

• Plan, organize, and conduct approx. 25–40 expert interviews worldwide

• Develop structured interview guides in alignment with the client’s research objectives

• Assess market sizing in terms of volume, value, and average selling prices across product categories

• Analyze the competitive and supplier landscape in the global optical lenses industry

• Evaluate channel splits (Retail / Independents / Online) and POS structures

• Identify key drivers influencing B2B volume and price development

• Capture and interpret regional trends, local dynamics, and market evolution

• Consolidate findings and translate insights into clear, compelling presentation slides

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders

YOUR TALENTS

• Several years of experience in market research, strategy, or business development, ideally in optics, eyewear, or consumer goods industries

• Strong understanding of the global eyewear and spectacle lenses market (both B2B and B2C)

• Proven track record in conducting and analyzing qualitative expert interviews

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills in market modeling and competitor analysis

• Excellent communication and moderation skills in an international context

• Ability to synthesize insights and create impactful slide decks and storylines

• Structured and independent working style with solid project management experience

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
