Automotive supplier specializing in vehicle components with integrated LED technology is looking for a French-speaking Production Manager (m/f/d) to lead the production ramp-up of a new production series.

• Remote/On-Site: On-site (France), occasional travel required

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Take ownership of the start of production (SOP) for a component with integrated LED elements
• Build and establish production structures, workflows, and processes at the site
• Ensure a smooth and on-schedule production ramp-up
• Coordinate between engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing during the ramp-up phase
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and disruptions in the production process
• Introduce and monitor KPIs for production control
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, particularly regarding LED integration
• Lead and guide the local production team on-site
• Maintain close alignment with management on progress, risks, and countermeasures
• Drive continuous process optimization in line with lean production principles

YOUR EXPERTISE:

• Must-have: several years of experience in production management, ideally within the automotive supplier industry
• Must-have: proven experience leading start-of-production (SOP) processes
• Must-have: fluent French, plus good English or German skills
• Experience building production structures and processes from the ground up
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement
• Experience with electronic/LED-integrated components is a plus
• Confident use of quality management methods (e.g., FMEA, PPAP)
• Strong hands-on mentality and assertiveness
• Experience leading intercultural, cross-site teams
• Structured, solution-oriented working style and high willingness to travel
