Cost Controlling / Budgeting Expert (Automotive, Middle East)

Our client, a well-known organization in the Middle East, is establishing a new automotive production facility and is seeking an experienced Cost Controlling & Budgeting Expert (m/f/d) to ensure financial transparency and effective cost management for this complex industrial program.

Remote/On-Site: On-Site in the Middle East

Workload: Full-time

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cost controlling and budgeting framework for the program

• Create detailed forecasts, business cases, and financial models

• Ensure transparency and efficiency in budget allocation and cost utilization

• Analyze variances and cost drivers; define corrective measures where required

• Develop standardized reporting and controlling processes across all workstreams

• Collaborate closely with the Program Director, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance

• Support contract and investment decision-making with financial insights

• Prepare and present regular financial reports to the program and executive leadership

• Guarantee compliance with corporate and audit standards

YOUR TALENTS

• Strong background in cost controlling and financial management for large industrial or automotive projects

• Deep understanding of budget planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost transparency

• Previous experience in an international environment or strategy consultancy (focus: Operations/Finance)

• Highly analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights

• Structured, precise, and result-oriented working style

• Excellent command of ERP systems and controlling tools

• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

• Willingness to work on-site in the Middle East

• Fluent English
