DEINE CHALLENGE

• Unterstützung der CIO-Agenda an der Schnittstelle von IT, Organisation und Business-Strategie; Vorbereitung entscheidungsreifer Unterlagen für das Executive Level
• Aufbau und Pflege belastbarer Stakeholder-Beziehungen (IT, Business, Finance, Procurement) inkl. Moderation von Priorisierungs- und Governance-Entscheidungen
• Steuerung einer ganzheitlichen Operational-Excellence-Agenda über zentrale CIO-Office-Funktionen (u. a. Strategy, PPM, BRM, SIAM, ITSM, Risk, Governance, Sourcing)
• Design und Weiterentwicklung eines wirksamen IT-Operating-Models (Rollen/Accountabilities, Gremien, End-to-End-Prozesse, Schnittstellen zu Business & Shared Services) inkl. Nearshore/Offshore-Ansätzen
• Etablierung und Steuerung des Finance MTP (Mid-Term Planning) für die IT inkl. Planungslogik, Szenarien, Capex/Opex-Transparenz sowie Ableitung von Effizienzmaßnahmen
• Verantwortung für IT-Budgeting & Financial Management (Forecasting, Kosten-/Leistungstransparenz, Value-/Benefits-Tracking, Financial Controls) mit klarem Fokus auf Kostenoptimierung bei stabilen Service Levels
• Aufbau eines integrierten IT-Performance-Managements inkl. KPI-Framework, Service- und Lieferanten-Performance (z. B. Verfügbarkeit kritischer Applikationen), QBR/MBR-Routinen und Management-Cockpits
• Management und Weiterentwicklung des IT-Portfolios (Demand-Intake, Priorisierung nach Business Value, Business Cases, Roadmaps, Abhängigkeiten) inkl. konsequenter Portfolio-Governance und Delivery-Fokus (Time/Budget/Scope)
• Konsolidierung und Professionalisierung des Vendor- und Contract-Managements (Vendor Landscape, strategische Verhandlungen, TCO-Optimierung, Compliance, Performance Tracking, Renewal-Planung, Eskalationsmanagement)
• Unterstützung von Transformation & Change (Working Methods, agil/lean) sowie Begleitung von Organisationsveränderungen inkl. Einbindung der operativen Organisation zur Validierung und Optimierung

DEINE TALENTE

• 10 - 15 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung in leitender Rolle (Linienverantwortung oder umfassende Projektverantwortung) im IT-Umfeld
• Abgeschlossenes Studium (Bachelor/Master) in (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, BWL oder vergleichbar
• Starker technischer Hintergrund; idealerweise Erfahrung aus IT- und/oder Strategieberatung, um komplexe IT-Themen strukturiert zu steuern

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Support the CIO agenda across IT, organization and business strategy; prepare decision-ready materials for executive stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships (IT, Business, Finance, Procurement) and facilitate prioritization and governance decisions
• Lead a holistic operational excellence agenda across core CIO-office domains (e.g., strategy, PPM, BRM, SIAM, ITSM, risk, governance, sourcing)
• Design and evolve an effective IT operating model (roles/accountabilities, governance bodies, end-to-end processes, interfaces to business & shared services), incl. nearshore/offshore setups
• Establish and steer the IT Finance MTP (Mid-Term Planning) incl. planning logic, scenarios, Capex/Opex transparency and efficiency actions
• Own IT budgeting & financial management (forecasting, cost/service transparency, value/benefits tracking, financial controls) with a focus on cost optimization while protecting service levels
• Build an integrated IT performance management setup incl. KPI framework, service & vendor performance (e.g., critical application availability), QBR/MBR routines and management dashboards
• Manage and improve the IT portfolio (demand intake, prioritization by business value, business cases, roadmaps, dependencies) and enforce portfolio governance and delivery excellence
• Drive vendor, contract and license management (vendor landscape, strategic negotiations, TCO optimization, compliance, performance tracking, renewals, risk & escalation management)
• Advance working methods and organizational change (agile/lean), ensuring involvement of the operational organization to validate and optimize outcomes
• Initiate and steer innovation/automation initiatives (e.g., AI pilots) together with enterprise architecture, aligned to solid business cases

YOUR TALENTS

• 10 - 15 years of relevant professional experience in a leadership role (line management or major project responsibility) in an IT context
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems analysis, business administration or comparable
• Strong technical background; ideally experience in IT and/or strategy consulting to structure and manage complex IT topics
• Excellent communication skills to engage executive committees and stakeholders at all levels
• Proven experience in governance, IT finance, sourcing and managing external partners (contract negotiations, KPI/performance tracking)
• Solid track record in operating model design, organizational development and establishing effective steering routines (PPM/BRM, SIAM/ITSM)
• Strategic mindset to align IT initiatives with business objectives (prioritization, value case, trade-off decisions)
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative leadership style to foster an operational excellence culture
• Project language: German & English (fluent)
